FusionEdit M v0.03, the first official release, is now available! YAYS!
Check out the SourceForge news page for a summary of most of the features included in FusionEdit M. The biggest new feature is build profiles, which allow you to set up debug or release configurations for your project, with different compiler executables, arguments, and libraries. Or you can let each developer set up his own customizable build profile.
As quoted from the SourceForge news article, the two biggest things that need work right now are:
- File saving. Kind of a big one. The current release does not let you save files. You can commit a new revision, but who wants to do that every time you go to build?
- Better versioning. Right now, each file has its own revision history; there's no correlation of revisions between separate files.
This release includes a new UI, a better build system, and of course, support for build profiles.
Hopefully more to come over Thanksgiving break!
